Conditions to obtain a class 6 (Motorcycle)
You need:
· Age minimum: 16 years. If you are a minor, you need to obtain a written authorization of the person responsible for you (parent, guardian, etc.)
You must have in your possession two pieces of valid identification: a Canadian birth certificate (original only), a valid Canadian passport, a proof of Canadian citizenship or your certificate of the legal admission to Canada, a medical insurance or of social security card.
Depending on the motorcycle's engine displacement that you wish to drive, you must obtain one of the following class of driver's licenses :
• Class 6A Motorcycle License: all motorcycles
• class 6B Motorcycle License: displacement of 400 cm3 or less
• class 6C Motorcycle License: displacement of 125 cm3 or less
