Conditions to obtain a class 2 License
You need:

To have less than 4 demerit points on your driving record

To not have had any suspension or revocation of your driver's license during the last two years following an offence to the criminal Code or of an accumulation of demerit points.

To succeed the visual test of the RAMQ

To present a satisfactory medical report from the RAMQ

To complete a theoretical examination.

To have 24 months of experience as a card holder of a class 5 permit (passenger vehicle)

To have had their license for longer than 3 months
For the NEW Quebec residents, the SAAQ authorizes an alteration to this rule. Class 2 permits from other jurisdictions are recognized so long as the driver has documented proof from the previous two years.
-Succeed the road test as well as the test of procedures of technical inspections to the SAAQ.

Description of the body of the heavy vehicles: classifies 2
The class 2 license permits a driver to operate a bus intended for the transportation of 24 or more passengers. The class 2 also authorizes the driving of all the others types of vehicles, with the exception to the road vehicles allowed by the class 1 and class 6 (motorcycle) licenses.
